Catching up on the Holidays...

Well we started off November with a 24hour stomach bug for London.... poor little thing. Luckily it was only 24 hours, and the rest of the season has been great for these kiddos.
Enjoying some yummy ice cream...

London's school, the Thanksgiving feast. (more like a Charlie Brown Thanksgiving feast ;) They were all so cute! They said a blessing before the meal.

Thanksgiving at our house with Grammy and Papa!

Took a trip to the zoo on Thanksgiving, it was as if we had the entire place to ourselves.
We spent a lovely evening with our friends, and London's good friend at school, walking around Toluca Lake for the winter festival.
London had her picture taken twice with Santa.... on this occasion it was with her BFF Cameron...a day out with her BFF, girls only, they had matching Christmas dresses.
Christmas Play date at our house with her two good school friends, Emily and Ringo.

Our annual Christmas Party (and celebration of Auntie Lori's birthday) at the Talty's house. Ewan was pushing Carson around in this... he has a crush on her, seriously, ask for her every day.

We had fun at the Americana enjoying the holiday festivities.

Some of you may be wondering what the red spot is on Ewan's cheek... well he got bit by a spider, THEY THINK! He has had two rounds of antibiotics, a facial cream, we do hot compresses, its not going away... really is sad... he will be seeing a children's dermatologist in the New Year if its not gone... by his pediatricians recommendation.
.

I know he looks disgusted, but he actually went in and kissed her, this is the pull away shot. lol.

Thank you Post family! We celebrated Hanukkah this year. London has asked the past two years, and now that Eric has been in his studies, he really found it appropriate to do so with everything he has been learning, and I agree, so Yes, we now celebrate Hanukkah as well as Christmas :)

London's fake nails. If you can't tell they are designed with "Tangled".
Eric "surprised" us with a nice cabin up in Forest Falls (Big Bear) for a few days. We had such a wonderful time as a family. It was needed and enjoyed, and we are very thankful....This is the view from our living room window.

The kids had fun making a snowman, snow angels, and sledding, sledding, sledding!!!

Ewan loves his John Deer hat, but he likes to wear it backwards with it pulled down for his eyes to go through the hole in the back... I dunno.
Our Sunday school raised money and items to put in 150 backpacks to pass out to our homeless community on Christmas Eve. They also made 150 Christmas cards to give with each one. It was a beautiful day, ending with Christmas Eve dinner with our dear friends the Crenshaws, and Christmas Eve service.

Watching Fireman Sam... his favorite show!
Christmas morning.... London got her present from Santa, she asked for a "Step in horse" her exact words... can't believe we figured out what that meant! lol!
Ewan got a big fire truck...

He is a singer, a performer... the microphone and amp was a hit!
On Christmas day we went up to Northern Cali to be with Grammy and Papa. We had a wonderful visit with their friends Tom and Judy over dinner. We also went to Sacramento to the Train museum, it was pretty awesome, the kids had a blast :)

London was given an egg with a dinosaur inside, but she had to dig it out... here she is doing exactly that. Ewan of course talking to her and giving her his two cents on it all.

Dad and son enjoying some grub.
Ewan got a fireman hat from Grammy and Papa, he has to sleep with it now! I can't believe he was sharing with Grammy!

Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas, and very soon Happy New Year!! We are so sorry for the long delay in update and photos. Life has been full, and we are very blessed. We love you all and hope you all had wonderful holidays with your families. We are so thankful for each and every one of you. We hope the new year brings you all peace, love, and happiness!
xoxo
Eric, Rachel, London, and Ewan
